PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, was formed in 1984 to honor North Carolina's unique traditional music heritage.

We believe in showcasing the many traditions and musical styles that are a part of North Carolina's culture.

In doing so, we support the work of North Carolina's traditional artists,
both professional and avocational, and present them to you with the highest production values.
