A new band that’s forming for the 2023 Festival IBMA Bluegrass Live! powered by PNC is having a viral moment. Kaia Kater posted a video on Instagram of she, Jake Blount, Tray Wellington and Nelson Williams rehearsing for their upcoming set at the Red Hat Amphitheater on Saturday September 30th. The video is taking off and has folks talking about this new collaboration.

UPDATE: The band announced their new name from the stage at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC. “We are New Dangerfield,” declared Jake Blount. You can see photos, video and read more about the story behind the band name here.
