Our Roots Run Deep
A group of friends founded PineCone in 1984 to bring traditional music down the mountain to Raleigh. We've been jamming ever since.
PineCone is now a resident company at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh. We celebrate music with roots through concerts, jams, workshops, radio shows and in our role as producer of the festival IBMA Bluegrass Live! powered by PNC.
