PineCone is a Resident Company at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh and producer of the festival IBMA Bluegrass Live! powered by PNC. The festival is one of Raleigh’s signature events drawing 200,000+ people downtown and generating an annual direct economic impact of $18-million for Wake County.

PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, is a 501c3 nonprofit founded by a group of friends in 1984 to preserve, present and promote traditional folk music and dance in North Carolina.
