PineCone, is a Resident Company at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh and producer of the festival IBMA Bluegrass Live! powered by PNC. The festival is one of Raleigh’s signature events drawing 200,000+ people downtown and generating an annual direct economic impact of $18-million for Wake County.

PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, was incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit by a group of friends in 1984 to preserve, present and promote traditional folk music and dance in North Carolina.
