This all levels banjo workshop led by two-time IBMA award winner Tray Wellington will go in depth with some progressive techniques you can incorporate into standard bluegrass songs such as “Blue Ridge Cabin Home” and instrumentals such as “Follow the Leader.” There will be techniques in this seminar that people of all skill levels will be able to use.
Wellington is currently a senior at ETSU in the Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Country Music program. He is a two-time IBMA Momentum Award winner, including the 2019 IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year and 2019 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year with Cane Mill Road. Wellington has played some of the biggest festivals in the United States, and has shared the stage with many of his heroes including Béla Fleck, Tony Trischka, Jens Kruger, Noam Pikelny, Kristin Scott Benson, Bryan Sutton and more.
