Jam Session
After the concert with Alice Gerrard at the NC Museum of History, if you’re not coming to the post-show meet-and-greet but you’re not quite ready to go home, check out the Irish music session at Tir na nOg!
The weekly Irish session is always free to the public, and it is open to musicians of all skill levels – participants at the jam range in age from 8 to 80! The session welcomes and encourages singing, dancing, and listening as well. Look for the musicians gathered either in the back left of the pub near the fireplace or in the “Cottage.”
