Make live music part of your First Friday plans this week with bluegrass duo Jeff Stickley (guitar) and Jason Beverly (mandolin). You can also enjoy artwork by Raleigh artist John Lowe, whose colorful acrylic paintings combine impressionistic and flow techniques. Lowe will attend the event as well. You’re welcome to drop in between 6 & 8 p.m. for a laid back evening with fellow PineCone members and music and art lovers. You are welcome to bring non-members as guests, and you can both choose CDs from the PineCone Bluegrass Radio Show vault!
Please note that although the addess is Glenwood Ave, the entrance and parking lot are on Tucker Street, which crosses Glenwood Avenue. For directions or more information about United Arts, please call 919-839-1498, or visit the United Arts Council’s website.
We will provide light hors d’oeuvres, as well as beer, (courtesy of Trophy Brewing), wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
