Music of the Carolinas is making a virtual comeback! We’re excited to reimagine this series by sharing some special performances that you can view from home, PLUS some conversations with artists – they’ll chat with PineCone Executive Director David Brower after the performance, and take some of YOUR questions over Zoom!

Up first, we hope you’ll join us for a live set that Tommy Edwards and Andrew Marlin (of Mandolin Orange) recorded in front of the house in Raleigh where bluegrass legend Bill Monroe used to live with his brother Charlie. Tommy Edwards is lead singer and guitarist for The Bluegrass Experience, and host of Life 103.1′s “Bluegrass Saturday Night.” A professional performer for more than 40 years, Edwards has twice been named World Champion Bluegrass Guitarist. He also served for 30 years in the Randolph and Chatham county schools as a teacher, coach and administrator. And, Tommy Edwards and The Bluegrass Experience will celebrate a milestone 50 year anniversary next year!
