PineCone’s monthly bluegrass/Americana/old time jam continues to grow. We hope to see you there! Musicians of all skill levels are welcome, but this is not a learning jam – however, it will still provide opportunities to meet other area musicians and to learn how jams work. And listeners are always welcome to observe, too.
The Piedmont region of North Carolina has a vibrant and varied music scene, which the combined bluegrass/old time/Americana jam taps into. This jam will meet on the third Saturday of every month. There is plenty of space in case musicians want to break out into different groups over the course of the afternoon. We hope that this combined jam will also provide opportunities for musicians to learn about and explore the similarities between these overlapping styles.
Blue Note has on site parking right behind the old train trestle. There are lots of other parking options in the neighborhood, including on the street. Accessible parking: there is a spot next to the beer garden right at the sidewalk. It’s on the right just as you pull into the parking lot.
