Jam Session

The PineCone Beginners Bluegrass Jam is open to all musicians, not only beginners! It is a learning jam, though, to help those who are still learning the basics of bluegrass music and playing with other musicians. It is open to participants of all ages and abilities. This is a great opportunity for participants to learn basic jam etiquette before jumping into a traditional jam. As always, jammers have the option of breaking off into smaller groups to practice what you’ve been learning.

PLEASE NOTE: Please be sure to leave yourself extra time to get to Harry’s for this month’s jam, as this week is also the NC State Fair, which is very close to Harry’s Guitars! Also, please note when parking at Harry’s: You will be asked if you are coming for the fair. Just tell Robbie that you are coming to the store for the jam session.

This month’s featured tune is “Banks of the Ohio,” in the key of G. Download chord sheets for Banks fo the Ohio
