The Piedmont region of North Carolina has a vibrant and varied music scene, which the combined bluegrass/old time/Americana jam taps into thanks to a partnership with Speakeasy in Carrboro! This jam meets monthly on the second Monday of each month from 6-9pm. Speakeasy has space in case musicians want to break out into different groups over the course of the evening, but we hope that this combined jam will also provide opportunities for musicians to learn about the similarities between these overlapping styles.
Musicians of all skill levels are welcome, but this is not a learning jam – however, it will still provide opportunities to meet other area musicians and to learn how jams work. And listeners are always welcome to observe, too.
Parking is available on the street and in the municipal lot located behind the building.
