The PineCone Bluegrass Jam is moving…to the main level in the Busy Bee Cafe! One of the primary reasons for the move is to ensure that the PineCone Bluegrass Jam is accessible to anyone in the community who wants to attend – hosting the jam upstairs has caused a physical barrier to some members of our community who want to be able to participate, and as an organization, PineCone strives to make our programs accessible to all members of the community. (This should also be better for bass players, and anyone with concerns about stairs.)

While the PineCone Bluegrass Jam welcomes musicians of all skill levels to participate, it is not a learning jam (often referred to as a “slow jam” in bluegrass circles). However, beginners are welcome – the jam is a great place for musicians to meet and get to know each other and to learn how the jam runs. And listeners are welcome to come out and enjoy the music and camaraderie, too!
