The International Bluegrass Music Association will soon fill Raleigh with bluegrass again – whet your appetite with the PineCone Bluegrass Jam in The Hive at the Busy Bee Cafe. While the PineCone Bluegrass Jam welcomes musicians of all skill levels to participate, it is not a learning jam (often referred to as a “slow jam” in bluegrass circles). However, beginners are welcome – the jam is a great place for musicians to meet and get to know each other and to learn how the jam runs. And listeners are welcome to come out and enjoy the music and camaraderie, too! (Photo Credit: Kristen Abigail; Musicians gathered in The Hive during the PineCone Bluegrass Jam from October 2013!)
The PineCone Bluegrass Jam is sponsored by Terrapin, which donates $1 to PineCone for every pint of Terrapin Rye Pale Ale sold during the bluegrass jam!
