If you just can’t wait until Sunday to hear more bluegrass, or you’re in the mood to play some yourself, stop by the Busy Bee Cafe in downtown Raleigh tonight for the PineCone Bluegrass Jam!
While the PineCone Bluegrass Jam welcomes musicians of all skill levels to participate, it is not a learning jam (often referred to as a “slow jam” in bluegrass circles). However, beginners are welcome – the jam is a great place for musicians to meet and get to know each other and to learn how the jam runs. And listeners are welcome to come out and enjoy the music and camaraderie, too! (Photo Credit: Sherry Burchett; Musicians gathered in The Hive during the PineCone Bluegrass Jam from January 2014!)
The PineCone Bluegrass Jam is sponsored by Terrapin, which donates $1 to PineCone for every pint of Terrapin Rye Pale Ale sold during the bluegrass jam!
Please note: The Hive at the Busy Bee is located up a flight of stairs; we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. PineCone strives to make our programs accessible to everyone in the community to the best of our ability. Learn more
