Calling all bluegrass musicians and fans! If it’s the second Monday of the month, you can find your fellow bluegrass enthusiasts in The Hive at the Busy Bee Cafe for the PineCone Bluegrass Jam! While this jam welcomes musicians of all skill levels to participate, it is not a learning jam (often referred to as a “slow jam” in bluegrass circles). The jam is still a great place for musicians to meet and get to know each other. Listeners are welcome too!
Also, Busy Bee recently celebrated its sixth anniversary, and it’s been hosting the bluegrass jam for the majority of that time (since 2010), so please make sure to thank the staff and folks working there for giving bluegrass music a home in downtown Raleigh!
