You’re invited to join in a jam just for you and your peers that will be led by bass player and guitarist Jef Walter, who helped teach during the PineCone Bluegrass Jam Camp in Cary this past summer. Building on the youth jams that have been held in North Hills, this jam will likely include some songs that have been used at those jams, as well as some new songs. Past songs have included: Hot Corn, Cold Corn (G), I’ll Fly Away, You are My Sunshine, Billy in the Low Ground (C), My Home’s Across the Blue Ridge Mountains, Soldier’s Joy (D), Blackberry Blossom (G), Black Mountain Rag (A), and Bonaparte’s Retreat (D).
