Getting excited for IBMA week? So are we! IBMA will be held online this year, and unfortunately that means we can’t really all gather together to hang out and jam this time around. But we can still get together and share some songs online! For this virtual youth event, we’ll plan to hang out and build up some IBMA week momentum with a song share — everyone is welcome to bring one or two songs you’d like to perform solo for the group! All experience levels welcome. And if you happen to share a space with friends or family members who also play, your “solo” song can even be a “duo or group jam”–whatever you like! Seeing old friends and jamming with new friends are just about the best parts of IBMA week, and we hope to capture a little of that magic in an online session. Sharing a song is not required – you’re welcome to participate by listening, following along, and hanging out having a good time! This event is open to youth musicians ages 18 and under.
