If the idea of stepping onto a stage or even speaking in front of others makes you nervous, you’re not alone! In this workshop, singer-songwriter Leslie Brown will talk about her own experience as a performer, and she will share some tips of the trade to help you overcome your fear and steal the stage, whether you’re performing or simply presenting in front of others.
Leslie Brown grew up as a clogger in the coal mining town of Vansant, Virginia. Today, she’s the bass player and principal songwriter for Dewey & Leslie Brown and the Carolina Gentlemen, a sharp dressing band of players that play tight, straight ahead bluegrass.
NOTE: This workshop will be recorded and distributed to registered attendees for use as a learning tool. A highlights video will be produced and shared to promote future workshops and events.
