Performers and Presenters Announced for 27th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards

The Awards Show will be held at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts (Memorial Auditorium) in Raleigh, and will feature performances and award presentations from some of the genre’s brightest stars.

This year’s Awards Show theme is Bluegrass on Screen and performers include all five Entertainer of the Year nominees: Balsam Range, The Del McCoury Band, The Earls of Leicester, Flatt Lonesome, and The Gibson Brothers as well as show co-hosts Sierra Hull and Dan Tyminski, along with The Lonesome River Band, IIIrd Tyme Out, and the Becky Buller Band.

Presenters include Dale Anne Bradley, Becky Buller, Kristy Cox, Chris “Critter” Eldridge, Mike Fleming, Leigh Gibson, Trey Hensley, Rob Ickes, Claire Lynch, Laurie Lewis, Del McCoury, Jesse McReynolds, Russell Moore, Steven Mougin, Gary Nichols, Herb Pedersen, Sammy Shelor, Frank Solivan, Bryan Sutton, and Raleigh Mayor Nancy MacFarlane.

The Awards Show is the centerpiece of IBMA’s five-day World of Bluegrass event, brought to you by Chiesi USA, held September 27 – October 1 in Raleigh. Awards are voted on by the professional membership of the IBMA, the trade association for the bluegrass music industry.
