Carolina PineCones to Perform at 2017 Shakori Hills Festival

On Friday, May 5, at 7 p.m., the Carolina PineCones will host a bluegrass jam on the Front Porch Stage, and on Saturday, May 6, at 2:15 p.m., they'll perform a set on the Cabaret Stage.

The original 1985 film, The Singing Stream: A Black Family Chronicle, will air on UNC-TV's NC Channel on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m.; the recently completed sequel, The Singing Stream Reunion: The Grandchildren, will air one week later, on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m.

Carolina PineCones November Performances

The Carolina PineCones have two performances scheduled in November, one at the Pittsboro First Sunday Arts Fair (Nov. 6) and one back at Radius Pizza in Hillsborough (Nov. 10).
