Purchasing a Ticket

We encourage you to call us for the best pricing.

Tickets ordered through PineCone's box office will be sent via email or text on the day of purchase. Please note that the tickets will come from a "ticketmaster.com" email address. You may need to search your inbox and/or spam folder for "ticketmaster" to find the email.

Upon request, we can also print hard tickets for you and deliver them by US Mail or at Will Call.


PineCone members must use a password to receive a discount. This password is emailed during pre-sale. If you don't have the password email us at info@pinecone.org to request. Tickets purchased online will be subject to Ticketmaster convenience fees.

On the day-of-show, Ticketmaster stops selling online about 5 hours before showtime; if you can't get your tickets online the day-of-show, and the show is not sold out, tickets can be purchased at the venue box office up to one hour before showtime, when lobby doors open.

PineCone members receive exclusive access to presale opportunities for the Down Home Series and IBMA World of Bluegrass Events. Members can also avoid high ticket fees by calling the PineCone Box Office or by purchasing your ticket in person at the Martin Marietta Center Box Office.

Service Fees

Ticket purchases made through PineCone's office are subject to sales tax and a $4.29 facility fee per ticket. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. Make personal checks payable to: PineCone (There is a $25 fee for returned checks)

Tickets purchased through ticketmaster.com and affiliated outlets are subject to fees set by ticketmaster.

After Your Purchase

Please have tickets on your phone on the night of the event and ready to scan upon arrival. Your phone is your ticket.

If you purchased tickets through PineCone and prefer a printed ticket please call us at 919-664-8333.

Touchless ticket scanners If you ordered your tickets online, please download your ticket(s) to your mobile device prior to coming to the event.

All ticket sales are final. However, PineCone Members can convert tickets to a donation to PineCone, or exchange for a future PineCone concert in the same season.

Bags & Security at the Martin Marietta Center

Guests will be guided through a security screening, which includes new bag size restrictions.

All bags are now subject to search and must meet new size requirements.

A small clutch or wallet is recommended and no bags larger than 12" x 12" x 10" will be allowed. This includes backpacks, camera bags, and large purses.

Diaper bags are allowed for guests with infants or toddlers - child must be present.

Refunds or Donation Credits

All ticket sales are final. If you are unable to attend the concert you can convert the  ticket into a donation to PineCone in the same amount, or exchange for a future concert of similar value. Exchanges are subject to availability. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.


Exchanges for tickets purchased by phone through PineCone must be handled through PineCone's box office (919-664-8333) during normal business hours, no later than 48 hours in advance of the performance date printed on your ticket.

No money will be refunded for tickets of lesser value. Customer must pay difference for higher value tickets. Tickets may not be exchanged for co-promotions. Contact us for further details.

Waiting List

In the event of a sellout, the PineCone box office will maintain a waiting list in case tickets become available. To add your name to a waiting list, call 919-664-8333. If tickets become available, PineCone staff will contact people on the waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cell Phones

All mobile phones must be silenced before entering the theater.

Cameras/Recording Devices

Photography or sound recording of any performance without written permission of management is prohibited. No cameras or recording devices of any kind are permitted in the theaters during a performance.
