PineCone’s Bluegrass Jam Camp for Youth is a full day camp for intermediate fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and upright bass students (ages 10-17) looking to take their bluegrass music to the next level while jamming with others. This camp will focus on repetoire building and increased familiarity with jam etiquette, plus playing back-up, lead, harmony, improvisation, and more.
**Students are expected to provide their own instruments, snacks, lunches, and masks. Pen, paper, and a recording device are recommended as well.**
Safety Protocols
- Limited group sizes.
- Socially distanced seating.
- Lunch will be eaten outdoors, weather permitting.
- Masks will be required indoors and when unable to maintain social distancing.
- Singing will only be done outdoors.
- NC DHHS safety protocols and guidelines will be followed at each camp.
- All instructors and PineCone staff are vaccinated.
Please note that students will spend time both indoors and outdoors during these camps. And while group sizes will be limited, students will be in different groups in the morning and afternoon, and students will be all together during lunch.
