The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) and local host PineCone (Piedmont Council of Traditional Music) have announced Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Jerry Douglas, and Missy Raines & Allegheny with special guest Alison Brown as the final artists for the Red Hat Amphitheater performances at the 11th annual IBMA Bluegrass Live! powered by PNC to be held Sept. 29-30, 2023. The live weekend performances will take place at Red Hat Amphitheater and on additional stages in downtown Raleigh. Reserved tickets for the Red Hat Amphitheater performances start at just $50 for IBMA members.
“We are proud that IBMA Bluegrass Live! continues to provide stellar bluegrass music to more fans than any festival in the world,” said IBMA Interim Executive Director Paul Schiminger. “It is truly a celebration of our great music! The lineup on this year’s main stage at the Red Hat Amphitheater is an exciting mix of Hall of Famers and some of the most dynamic and creative artists in bluegrass. As in years past, events during IBMA World of Bluegrass will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center, the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, the Red Hat Amphitheater and at various venues in town.
